Soccer
Lauren Letien began soccer when she was eight years old in Richmond,
Virginia for the Pocoshock Panthers. She immediately loved the game. Her
true value as a total team member is her ability to play any position. Her
coach, Tim Glenn, praised her for her stamina and team play. She played
on classic travel teams in U-10, U-12, and U-14, always playing up an age
group. The team traveled to national competitions in Atlanta, Disney
World Sports Complex, Raleigh, Greensboro, Washington, D.C. and almost
everywhere in Virginia. Pocoshock Panthers classic team is one of the
premiere classic soccer teams in the state of Virginia. She moved to
Sumter, South Carolina in 2000. She currently plays for Sumter Soccer
Club on the U-18 girl's team and is working hard to achieve her dream of
playing college soccer one day.
